Blue Mountain Cottage (or Cnoc Gorm - to give it's Gaelic name)

Welcome to the Blue Mountain Cottage website. If it's peace and tranquility that you are looking for on the West Coast of Scotland then look no further.

Situated on the outskirts of the small crofting community of Sallachy, this traditional stone Cottage stands in an elevated and secluded position overlooking the magnificent sea loch of Loch Long and the breathtaking mountains of Kilillan.

Blue Mountain Cottage dates back to the early part of this Century and still has many original features and has kept its warmth and charm.

It is equipped to a high standard and comprises:

Upstairs : Two double bedrooms. (One double and one twin). Bathroom, (Bath & shower). Landing.

Downstairs : Wood panelled lounge, with (electric) open fire. Second toilet, large living room and dining area. The living room/diner is open plan and has a Rayburn cooker/heater/clothes dryer and TV.

Kitchen : The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine and micro- wave. Cooking is by electricity and heating via night storage heaters.

Linen and towels are provided, as is coal for the Rayburn.

Garden : BBQ area and large garden. Parking spaces.
